To empower and support the education and holistic development of Future India, we are proud to further deepen our association with Isha Vidhya.
Established in 2005 under the umbrella of Isha Education, Isha Vidhya, a cluster of rural schools, is committed to providing high-quality school education to underprivileged rural children who cannot otherwise access or afford it.
Today there are 10 rural Isha Vidhya schools with over 10,200 students. Many of the admitted students are first-generation learners from underprivileged families. About 60% of these children are supported on full scholarships, while the remaining pay a nominal fee.
SGA's engagement with Isha Vidhya comprises sponsoring the extensive infrastructural requirements of 8 Isha Vidhya Schools in Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore, Erode, Nagercoil, Tuticorin, Vilupuram, Cuddalore, Salem, and Dharmapuri). The Coimbatore facility is home to a student strength of 1462, the largest amongst all the others. The sponsorship aims to cover the extensive requirements of the school, including projectors for digital classrooms, transport equipment, electrical and electronic equipment, furniture, safety equipment, kitchen equipment, etc.
Through our collaboration with Isha Vidhya, we aim to create awareness and foster an ecosystem of evolved teaching practices by integrating technology into the curriculum, thereby enhancing the learning levels of students and promoting community ownership.
